Anri was born in Jurong Town, Singapore, into a family that was kind of artistic. His dad worked as a journalist, always writing stories and articles, and his mom was involved in acting and was kind of a well-known name in the local theatre scene. Growing up, Anri did not really care much about reading or writing. Books did not grab his attention, and he was not the type to spend time thinking about literature or anything like that. But things started to change when he got to high school. It was like something clicked in his mind. He started noticing how powerful writing could be and how much people’s words could actually matter. Slowly, he became more interested in different topics and issues around him. Even though he was not someone who talked a lot or was super confident in conversations, he realized that maybe his writing could speak for him in a way he could not do out loud. So he started writing more, hoping that his words would mean something to others.▍ ❝   CANON VERSE TWO. Main.
People always told Anri that he seemed older than he really was. “You’re too mature for your age,” they would say, usually after he said something clever or managed to get himself out of trouble with just words. It happened a lot, and he got used to hearing it. It made him feel kind of proud sometimes, but also a little weird, because he knew that was not really the full truth. Even though people thought he was super grown-up and serious, he actually spent a lot of his time doing silly, kind of childish stuff. Like, he loved reading comic books for hours or getting completely sucked into video games without noticing how much time had passed. Sometimes he would just lie on his bed, staring at the ceiling while making up all kinds of wild stories in his head about characters and places that did not even exist. He could waste an entire day like that and not even feel bad about it. So yeah, maybe he seemed mature on the outside, but if anyone really knew him, they would realize he was just a regular nerdy guy who liked to daydream and have fun in his own way.▍ ❝   CANON VERSE THREE. Anri is someone who can play a bunch of different instruments, which makes him really flexible when it comes to music. Ever since he was young, he was surrounded by a lot of creative stuff that really inspired him and made him fall in love with music early on. His dad used to be in a band, and his mom was involved in theatre acting. They both really loved singing and playing music, so there was always something musical happening at home. That kind of environment really helped Anri grow his interest in music, and he just kind of naturally followed that path. Besides being good with instruments, he is also talented when it comes to dancing. For about two years and a half, he trained to be in the entertainment industry and was set to debut on a KPOP group, but after a while, he decided to step back from that and focus more on his studies instead.▍ ❝   CANON VERSE FOUR. Anri really likes sweets, even though he does not eat them very often. It was not that he does not want to, he actually loves the taste, but he usually holds himself back, especially when there are other people around. Sometimes he just feels weird eating sugary stuff in front of others. But on the rare occasions when he does let himself have some candy or cake or something, it does not make him all jumpy or full of energy like it does with some people. Instead, it kind of hits him in a different way. He starts feeling super emotional and kind of mushy inside, like everything suddenly matters a lot more. He might even get extra friendly or say things he would not normally say. It is all kind of intense. That was probably why he usually tries to avoid eating sweets when there are others nearby because he doesn’t want to accidentally get all emotional or make things awkward.▍ ❝   CANON VERSE FIVE. He really wanted to get a good education in English, so he made the big decision to leave his home country. It was not easy for him to leave everything behind, but a friend had told him about a nearby country in Asia where many people go to study English—the Philippines. At first, he was not sure if it was a good idea. He had heard different things about the country, and some of them made him worried. But when he arrived in the Philippines, his thoughts started to change. He noticed that the people were very friendly and the place felt warm and welcoming. Even though he could not understand their language well and did not know much about their way of life, people still treated him kindly and helped him adjust.It took some time, but he was able to join one of the well-known universities in the country and chose to study Literature, which had always been a subject he liked. In the beginning, things were hard for him. He missed home, the lessons were challenging, and making friends was not easy. But as time went on, he started to feel more comfortable. He slowly made a few friends who supported him, and that helped him keep going in his studies and life in a new place.▍ ❝   CANON VERSE. Side.
He was part of two different bands, each showing how diverse he was as a musician. In one band, he played the bass guitar, and in the other, he was the drummer. Both bands were not really well-known, mostly just recognized by a small group of local music fans. They would play at local clubs every now and then. Being in these bands gave him a consistent, though not very large, income. He was not struggling to make ends meet, but he liked earning his own money instead of asking his family for help. He was pretty shy and valued his independence. Being in the bands not only helped him make some money but also gave him a way to express his love for music.
